DAVID ADAMS DIRECTOR OF SALISBURY GOLF ACADEMY
David started his golfing career as a junior member of East Dorset Golf Club, Wareham at the age of 10. During his 8 years there he reduced his handicap down to single figures and played in various events including playing for the junior team, mens team and his county.
In 1994 David took up the post as Assistant Golf Professional at Came Down Golf Course, Dorchester. He work as an assistant for 2 years and in that time reduced his handicap down to 3 and began his Professional Golfers Association Training. In 1996 David moved back to East Dorset Golf Club as Head Assistant Professional and work there for 4 years, during that time qualified to become a PGA Golf Professional. In 2000 David moved to Bulbury Woods Golf Course where he was given the post as head professional and gained valuable experience in running a pro shop and the running of a golf course.
In 2004 David then moved to Hedge End Golf Centre to pursue his love for teaching. He worked as a full time coach, where he ran a junior academy with 130 members successfully. Finally David joined Salisbury Golf Centre in 2006 as Golf Director where he now has a successful junior academy and lesson cliental. |
